CFK WEEKLY: JUNE 29

So many PR's this week! We are so proud of everyone! It makes us so happy to see you showing-up, working hard, chasing goals, and shining! We realize the beautiful weather and the beautiful area we live in sometimes makes it a challenge to come to the gym... especially during the summer heat waves like this week... but you are doing it!!! Seeing the hard work pay off and you changing your lives for the better is everything!!! We are so grateful to be part of your wellness journey!


RED, WHITE, & BLUE FRIDAY!!!


We’re closing out June and kicking off a fresh new month this week! We have a fun member-created WOD to start the week and wrap it up with one of our favorites: our RED - WHITE & BLUE WOD! Can you believe it's time for our 4th of July WOD this Friday?!?! Whether you’re here for the sweat, the festive workout gear, the celebration, or the post-WOD popsicles, this is guaranteed to be a fun one! Get ready to show up, work hard, and enjoy some festive fun with our CFK crew. This will be a RED Friday with some BLUE & WHITE too!!!


FRIDAY HOURS: We will be having 2 CROSSFIT CLASSES at 8 AM & 9:30 AM


We will be doing PARTNER "Rankel"


This is a 30 min AMRAP:


  • 12 Deadlifts (225/155)

  • 14 Burpee Pull-ups

  • 20 KBS (70/53)

  • 200m Run (together)

*split all other reps


HAPPY THUMB TAPE :)


We received a couple of samples of "happy thumb" tape and wanted to share. The tape is for members to try and will be on the half wall until it is all used up. If you try it, let us know what you think! You can either text or message the gym on social.


Why might you want to try it? Tape can improve grip on barbells and dumbbells, particularly when using the hook grip. It can also help prevent rips and blisters :)


SNEAK PEEK AT THE WEEK AHEAD:


I think someone was a little excited that her workout was chosen :) We have enjoyed spotlighting member-created workouts so much!!! Brian's workout this week was so much fun & definitely tested our grit during those "warm" runs ;) This week's Monday workout is number 5 of 6... and we want to send a special little congrats to Alyssha! It's a good one!!! eek!


We also have our 4th of July WOD to look forward to this week! Not only will we be rocking our RED on Friday, we will have some WHITE & BLUE too!
