CFK WEEKLY: OCT 12TH

Not really feeling much like a "ber" month yet, but we are excited with how the start of Fall is going for us here at CFK!!! Some highlights this week are the Personal Bests for snatching... so many great lifts and so much progress, some first pull-ups ever, and working on our handstand push-ups too! Way to go, Fit Fam!



OCT 25TH - WITCHES WOD!!!

WE have the "GIRL" workouts picked out and they are set for both RX and scaled standards... so everyone is welcome and everyone can have confidence going into the competition!!!

Here's a reminder of the RX standards:


  • run 400m

  • 24/20" box jumps

  • 20/14# WB's

  • Snatch and C&J 135/95

  • unassisted pull-ups

  • hang power snatch, push press, SDLHP, front squat (95/65)


So, if these are not skills you have yet, we are also having a scaled division!!! Let's goooooo!

2 weeks from now you could be celebrating how awesome you did in the Witches WOD!!! That's right... we are two weeks out from having one of our favorite gym events! So, grab some friends & get signed up :) Add your team info here OR if you are looking for a team, you can add your name, select RX or scaled, and we will help you find one:



We are also looking for members that are willing to be judges during the competition :) You can add your name to the form too! Thanks in advance!!!


HOT TO TROT ON THANKSGIVING MORNING...

The 5K course starts on Parkside Drive in front of Fleet Feet Knoxville and runs through Turkey Creek area and loops back. The 10K course is a 2-loop course. The Fun Run is out and back on Parkside Drive for a total of one mile.

MOUNTAIN MAN MEMORIAL MARCH:

Putting this out there as something we could do as a gym in April. Looking to see who might be interested and also have it as a "save the date" - April 11 in Gatlinburg.
